- Mr. Biju Dev a Diploma Holder in Yoga conducted classes for Asanas & Pranayama in four sessions for II professional students with relation to the subject Swasthavrtta in which Yoga & Naturopathy is part of curriculum.
- Dr. Vasudeva Reddy, Professor the department of Shalya Tantram of Jayendra Saraswathi Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Nazarthpet presented paper on Arshas, Bhaganthara. He made a presentation with his demonstrative C.D. on the above topics and also Kshara sutra.
Furthermore Inter-Departmental seminar are conducted regularly in the way of conducting paper presentation etc., allotting each department on every Wednesday between 1.45 P.M to 3.45 P.M. successfully.
In this as a special seminar on Kaya chikitsa all the 42 students of the III Profession presented papers, poster presentation on different topics of Kayachikitsa.
In that seminar, 3 panel members namely Dr. Varalakshmi, Dr. Harinathachari, and Dr. Rajashekhar adjudged the 3 best presentations. |

Re-Orientation Programme For Faculty: |

In order to enhance the knowledge of faculty, re-orientation programme for the faculty of department of Rachana sareeram - Anatomy was organized. In this Dr. Manikam, BAMS, M.Sc., Anatomy conducted the programme. |

Study Tours And Visits: |

As per the curriculum, we have conducted many visits and tours as follows:
- Students of 2004 -2005 batch were taken to sewage water treatment plant at Chennai Corporation Sewage Treating Centre at Nesapakkam for Swastha Virttam (Social and preventive Medicine) as specified in curriculum.
- To water treatment plant at Kilpauk for Swastha Virttam (Social and Preventive Medicine)
- Students were taken to Maduravoyal - a visit to a herbal garden there, for the subject Dravya Guna
- Students were taken to Regional Forensic Lab as a part of the Subject Forensic Medicine and Toxicology - Agathatantram avam Vyavahara Ayurveda.
- Students of Social profession were taken an education tour to the following places - Cochin, Munnar, Ooty for the subject Dravya Guna.

Participation In Extra Curricular Activities By Students |

We are of the opinion that mediocre teaching will not help the students to be groomed as professionals. Hence, we encourage students to participate in cultural, sports programmes.
- Our students participated in cultural competitions conducted by Kilpauk Medical College.
- Our Students participated in cultural competitions organized by M.M.C. called "Pradarshini".
- Our students participated in Quiz competition at St. Joseph college, Koyambedu for Canara Bank Centenary celebrations.
- Our students R.C. Sathish Kumar and Sunil Krishnan participated quiz competition organized by Coimbatore Ayurveda College and got III Prize.
- T.Pooja and T.Prarthana of our college participated in cultural programme competition by S.S.N. Engineering College.
