B.H.M.S. course is at par with M.B.B.S. as most of the subjects are common to each other. B.H.M.S. course is of 5 ½ years duration [4 ½ + 1 year compulsory internship]. The college has well qualified faculty members.
All the laboratories are well-equipped and maintained. The students are given proper practical and clinical training.  For better clinical exposure the students attend clinical classes at Tambaram Homoeopathic Hospital and peripheral centres.  They also attend lot of medical camps. On a rotator basis, all the interns are given chance to work under leading homoeopathic practitioners in and around Chennai.
Regular guest lectures are held; students participate in seminars both held at State as well as National level.
